I was wondering if you have a Milwaukee ph meter or any other ph meter what do you set your controller too and what is your system ph level?

I use a Milwaukee SMS-122 pH controller to control my calcium reactor. It is use to control the pH in the reactor though and not the main tank pH. It is set to come on at 6.9 and go off at 6.6 If I remember right. the reactor effluent drips into a Lee's Specimen container that hangs on the side of the sump and the pH probe is suspended in the effluent. Tank pH stays around 8.2 and calcium is right at 450.

Thanks this is my first calcium reactor and I was not told when I set it up that the flow needs to be reduced to more of a drip rather than a steady flow. I had mine with a steady flow and the controller ph set at 7.5. Until I found out the other day amount the flow rate I was getting crazy readings. My calcium was at 560, alklanity was at 16, ph 8.0. So you have your settingat 6.9 then, thanks.
