High Calcium in Reef Crystals??

I just opened a fresh bucket of Reef Crystals last night and proceeded to take my standard Calcium and Alk readings so that I can determine how much I will need to boost calcium.

My Alk was 12 dKH .. which is normal IME for RC.

The odd thing is that the Calcium tested out at 470! Im used to RC being in the 380 range. Im not sure if the test kit is on its way out or if there is a high calcium batch of RC floating around out there.

Dont get me wrong... having a high Ca and Alk is not going to bother me :D

Im usually the UN-Lucky one... so I will double check with another test kit!
