Finger Leather

I need to move a finger leather to another location but he has started to grow onto the side of a large rock. He is attached to the large rock and the disk he is sitting on. I need to move him before my new light can go on. Any thoughts on how to do this without killing him?

depending on the rock (some are porous, some are more smooth surfaced...) you may be able to just peal it off. Thats what i usually do with leathers (or anything for that matter). Just do it slowly...dont just rip it off. Try to peal it w/your finger till it lets go.
