I have heard of drilling and using "rods" to atatch liverock to make overhanging cliffs etc. My question is, what do you use for the "rod" material?

Thanks in advance,
Aaron

I have seen people use plastic coat hanger pieces, and I have seen people use acrylic rods.

Hey doubleA Ron, Noticed you haven't gotten a reply. I think he means the regular plastic all the way thru rods, can pick em up at Wallyworld. :) Good luck.

Another cheap and MUCH stronger rod are fiberglass arrows, about $2.50 at Walmart.

Fiberglass rods from driveway reflectors are the best I've found. Rigid, strong, and require drilling only small holes compared to the options above. Like $1.50 @ HD
