going over a 55gal. The fixture is slightly wider than the tank (tank is 12.5" (standard 55gal width) and fixture is advertised as 15") . No name generic brand made in china.

2x250w MH HQI 15K (included) on a tank thats only 20" tall. Would that be too much? (+T5 and LED)

im looking to tear down my tank and rebuild using MH. I plan on going SPS/mixed and possibly clams as well.

bottom line.....would you use/trust this fixture?

I would, that is plenty light and looks nice (if there are fans on the fixture).

looks half decent.
the price cant be beat.

but is it going to be one of those " you get what you pay for".
or for the rpice....if it works half as good as advertised will be good enough?
