I am looking to downsize from my 120 into a cube nano, 40 gallons or so,

Weighing my options between glass and acrylic. The rimless acrylic tanks look sweet, but I am worried about the care for the acrylic tanks. Are they as hard to keep scratch free as they say?

if your careful, acrylic is the best. the only thing i use to clean in/out is CLEAN micro fiber cloths. of course my current tank is only 12 gallons but after 2 plus years i have no scratches. another thing that has helped is that i have crushed coral substrate so i haven't picked up grains of sand between the cloth and acrylic, which WILL very quickly cause scratches. if your not willing to take extra care not to scratch it or you have children, or whatever that my be a little rough around the tank then go with glass. other than scratching, acrylic is superior.
