Good Idea?

Just got a pico like this one. Jeff has not posted to that thread in a while. I was wondering if this drain/return setup is a good idea or not? Looks very efficient, but I am not sure how loud it is.

that is exactly how i am going to set my 2 g pico...not sure how loud it will be but with the water flow he is getting i cant imagine it is that bad....
