Item 1
I have a Powder blue tang that has developed a taste for SPS, especially the nice young growth tips. This is not my first PBT that has done this. I traded my prior PBT to another reefer, and he did not pick on his SPS like he picked on mine. I usually feed my tangs a whole sheet of green seaweed a day.
He is in the tank w/ a sail fin tang, Naso, Kole tang and a pink tail trigger.
Has anyone else experienced this behavior with a PBT before?
Item 2
I had a great cleaner wrasse. This guy was constantly on my tangs and other fish doing his job. He patrolled my rock and was always picking at stuff, including the tang sea weed sheet.
Alas, he jumped the other day after a good year in the tank. I had some egg crate on the baCK, but he must have slipped through.
Question:
I know a lot of folks don't like having cleaner wrasses, and say they die after a certain period, but this guy was not like that.
I am considering replacing him w/ a Neon Gobi, but my tank is bare bottom, which may not be so good for him.
I am considering getting another wrasse, or a neon. Which way should I go?
Let me know.
