one of my extension sockets is not working. it is plugged into an outlet with 119 volts and the port coming form the DC8 is working fine. the extension socket will turn on stay at about 119 VAC for about 10 seconds, then it will drop down to something around 50VAC and then down to about 4VAC.
the DC8 and extension socket are on sepertate 20amp breakers. its is plugged into port 5 on the DC8 is used as a a heater. the heater is 800 watts and draws 7.25 amps of draw.
i have two of these exact same setups. the second heater and extesnion socket are on a 3rd 20 amp breaker and plugged into port 6 on the DC8. this set up is working fine.
i have swapped them and the one that does not not work continues to not work, while the known good one always works no matter what it is plugged into ( ports on the DC8 or AC supply)
