I have a 90 gallon mainly SPS reef and would like to add one more fish. Current list is:
Lubbocks Wrasse
2 Ocel Clowns
Yellow Watchman
Tangora Goby
Two spot hogfish
Soon to add Yellow eye Kole Tang
I would like to add another wrasse. I was thinking a radiant wrasse but I read they are not completely reef safe. Will a radiant destroy any of the live creatures in my sand? I have 2 large fire shrimp but I don't think a radiant could eat them. I will also take any other wrasse suggestions. Thanks.

I know they are somewhat common, but I love sixline wrasses. I also really like Hawaiian flame wrasses.
I know some people keep the radiants in their reefs without problems, but I've also known them to eat reef inhabitants. I have a friend who had one that was great for about six months and then decided that shrimp legs were awfully tasty. The shrimp were some of the largest skunk cleaners I've seen and were established before the wrasse was added. I wouldn't risk it, but then I like my shrimp. :)

Thanks for the info. I had a sixline in my previous tank and he was quite aggressive. I do like flame wrasses but they are quite expensive. I will look for a different wrasse.

I have a Radiant in my 90 and is completely reef safe. I have bloodshrimp, cleaner shrimp. Never seen it bother them. The Radiant is one of my favorite wrasses. I also have a hawaiian flame, red velvet wrasse, and lightning wrasse in the tank. No problems.
Here's my radiant

Yes, sixlines can be problematical, especially with fairy and flasher wrasses.
