Oops!

Well I tossed my 2 filter socks in the washer machine. Came back an hour later to take them out, and noticed my Cowrie was in there... I tossed him in the sump a week ago because he was messing with my corals. He must have stuck himself to the filter sock.. I have no idea how i didnt notice him.

That's unfortunate, I've found fish in filter socks a few times myself!

i dont think so.. i through him back in the sump, no movement so far.. The water in the washer machine was set to warm/warm... but then again.. it was fresh water...

You don't want to use soap with filter socks. Just plain water and maybe a bit of bleach. Soap won't completely rinse and would end up back into your system.
