Hi,
I have a 65 gallons tank and i'm currently using a Remora Pro with Mag 3 as a skimmer. Unfortunatly my sump is tiny(no room under the stand) and the stand is only 23 inches high inside.

I was contemplating buying a Deltec MCE600. I aslo intend on getting a larger tank(125g) later on.

Would a Deltec mce600 be good enough for a 125 gallons sps reef tank ?
I know the company rates it to be good for that but i'm not sure it's right.
Any imput on this?
Thanks

If the bio load is low that will work fine on a 125. Great skimmer. A little pricy and expensive proprietary parts but still a great skimmer.

I ran one on a 46 gallon SPS tank.

EDIT: There are some great sump based skimmers with smallish foot prints. I would consider that over a HOB skimmer.

Do you think i'd be better of with a Tunze 9010 or 9015?

I have a Deltec mce600 on my 125g tank and it replace a Tunze 9010.They produce almost the same quantity of skimmate. The Tunze produce light green skimmate but the Deltec produce darker and very stinking one.I notice that water is crystal clear since i change to Deltec.
Andre.
