Koran Angel changing question

I am aware that there are MANY variables that feed into this equation, but I was just hoping to get a few responses to this question.

Koran keepers who have seen yours change from juvi to adult, at about what size did you begin to see the change? How long did it take?

Again, I'm sure your responses will be wildly divergent. I just was wondering if I should be expecting to see anything soon. I'm in no hurry. My vlamingi tang is developing streamers and his rounded head, and I just got to thinking.

It differs with individuals (like puberty with humans!), but with my koran, he started at about 4 inches (body only). His stripes started to change colors a bit, but the process took a really long time. After 6mths, he's still only about half-and-half.
