clam color

Hi evernyone,

I have a corcea clam. I have had it for about 3 weeks and I noticed yesterday that its edges are turning clear.I guess losing its color. What could be happening? any insight is greatly appreciated. I also have a maxima clam and it has little faded brown spots.

tell us a little more about your system and posting a pic is best. tank size, clam locations, lighting, dosing

the first place to look is at your lighting if the zoox. isn't getting enough light to support itself the clam will slowly starve to death.
