Pairing would work, just one problem

Gobys will coagsist fine together. I have 4 differnt gobies in my 30g. I'm sure 2 will be ok in your tank. My concern is that maroon clownfish and sixline wrasses can be mean and gobies are very passive...

That IS a concern, especially in a tiny tank.

I wouldn't trust the maroon, I keep 2 sixlines in a 55 with my pink spotted goby with no trouble but a maroon is much larger and aggressive. My redbar hawk took a chunk out my gobies tail when they were (briefly) in the same tank and I would expect a similar outcome with the maroon clown. Not to mention the close quarters. Personally I would pick between the goby and the maroon and not try them together
