Hellooo. I just ordered two Pseudosquilla cilliatas, and the seller was kind enough to ship me two just in case one died in shipping.
So the seller told me that he had 5 of them sitting in a 5 gallon bucket so he figured 2 in a 20 gallon aquarium would be fine if both were to survive the trip.
Is this true? Would both my spearers be fine in one 20 gallon high aquarium? Or should I keep the other one in a temporary 5 gallon aquarium while I wait for someone else to buy it?
Thanks!

I would pretty much expect them to kill each other. Find a new home for one.

Or maybe you could put in some kind of divider?

Naw. Better to find it a new home. A 10 gallon for a P. Ciliata will probably end up too small when it is fully grown. They roam around a lot from what I've heard. I have an N. wennerae and a G. chiragra in the same tank (divided), only because the chiragra doesn't really get out much. The N. wennerae is barely one inch so the setup works. It's usually better to give an animal more space instead of less. I would find a buyer that intends to give one of them a 20 gallon. May be a little large but it would be better off. Your choice though, I am by no means an expert.
i'll take one off your hand?! I got a 22 gallon tank ready for one

Les is a good guy. He really tries his best to take care of customers.
The ones he told me about were already 3-4". So Imo 10 gallons each will be on the small side.
Where are you located, and what colors did you get? Please post pics when they arrive. Good luck.

I will post pics. Thanks for referring me to him George!
Yah a divider is out of the question because the tank has been running for many years and LR will be hard to split in two XD.
I actually had a friend who wanted one so if he were to follow up on that I would give it to him, but if not, Giga, I'll gladly send it to you.
I forgot what he told me but he sent me two different colors. But they change colors after a few molts or something like that to better fit their environment right? I'll definitely take pics. Epic pics are one of my goals with these guys!
And I'm located in San Diego, CA.

Woohoo they came! Except one of them was an unidentified smasher. I'm going to guess that it was a Gonodactylus smithii. I will be giving that away to a friend so don't ask xD.
Here's a pic of the Pseudosquilla cilliata. At least I think it's a Pseudosquilla cilliata.

Well it's curled up under a rock right now. Hopefully it'll roam about the aquarium in the morning! I looked up the list some more and I have a feeling it's Gonodactylus falcatus. I hope not xD.
