This is the blueberry watermelon. It continues to color up and has become a favorite in my collection!

Maybe its just me but I think its tough to tell what this one looks like under all the blue light.

I'm also finding that there is a big difference between the chalices that are subtly beautiful like your Oregon Mummy Eye and some of the Aussie stuff that looks more rough and not nearly as graceful as some of the echinophylia's that started this craze.

Beautiful piece but Blueberry Watermelon? I get what you're trying to capture but the only watermelons I've seen are red/pink. :)

Radioactive Jellyfish Chalice. Looks like a bunch of radioactive jellyfish floating in the blue seas.

Nice name! That seemed really odd when I first heard it but sounds sweet now. Definitely different.

I heard that if you don't frag challices, especially bright blue ones, before the get too big, they melt away... :lol:

no but seriously, choice piece! Very jealous! And on a sad not, my metalic w/orange eyes DID mysteriously melt just two days ago. I watched it happen only took about 1.5 hours for a 2"x3" piece.

That is an earlier photo and the colony has developed much more of the blue grey that you can see on the front of it.
