Haha, nice. I do like the blue lines.

I hope those both arent going in the same tank, you're probably going to have issues :)

Great looking fish!

Folks, I made a trip out to Chris's place the night he told me he got them in....jealous is an understatement. That queen likes to do its laps, the blue was not as much of a lap fish yet, but time will tell once it gets set in there. Both are very beautiful fish. I hope they keep the peace and we can see these beasts grow huge!

I have always kept triggers together. Thats cool, I hope it continues to work out :)

I have triggers together as well, 5 of them atm, but I shied away from queen triggers just from hearing stories about them tolerating no tank mates once they hit 12 or so.

I really hope yours work out, I love trigger tanks :)

Sorry to steal your thread Chris, but Recty I've been meaning to ask if your cleaner's are still doing well? Have they cleaned the humu yet?

Recty

Unfortunately, no to the first question, yes to the second question.

Both my cleaners are gone. I had them pulled into quarantine while I treated the entire tank with quinine sulfate, which is deadly to most inverts like cleaner shrimp. My QT sprung a leak and I had no where else to put the cleaners, so I put them back into my main tank. This whole leak thing happened at like midnight so I wasnt in the mood to try to get another whole QT going.

Anyway, the cleaner shrimp lasted two days, but they hid and didnt really do much. One died the third morning and the second died the third evening. Neither were eaten, they just died and sat underneath a rock until I pulled them out.

They cleaned every one of my triggers, the only fish they didnt clean was the puffer. I'm thinking about reintroducing 2 more of them at night, although I'm afraid I'll end up reintroducing ich somehow so I've avoiding it for now.

Damn, sorry to hear that. I'm definately going to try cleaners in my next tank since you and Dan have had success with them.

I have had cleaners with a niger and a titan trigger and they never bothered them!!

I put 3 in my Xhatch tank and they ate one!!!

Of all triggers I would not suspect them to that.

But then again My Bluejaw pair in my SPS tank ate a female flame wrasse!!!!!

I have had more problems with reef safe triggers than I have had with non reef safe ones LOL.

Were the cleaners always in the tank before the triggers?

Your Queen Trigger is very exotic looking. I like the squiggly lines around her eyes. Do you know the average lifespan of a Queen Trigger?

Chris - great to see you coming back to your senses and getting your triggers again.

I was starting to think that you had gone to the dark side of the reef LOL....

Awesome queen
