twelve line and mcoskers wrasse compatibility

i have a one inch twelve line wrasse in a 40g right now and i'm looking to get a mccosker's wrasse. i want to make sure they'll get along because the twelve line was horrible to the christmas wrasse i had in my tank before. i'm going to get a mccosker's that's bigger than it too just to make sure. thanks

The McCosker's won't stand a chance even though it may be bigger especially in a smaller tank.
