Vibration/clunking noise at all speeds from wet end.

Since I upgraded my vortech to the new magnet & plastic screw/nut. I keep getting a clunking vibration from the wet end. I have adjusted the wet end alignment with the dry side many times. It will be quiet for a few days & then the clunking noise starts. Taking the wet end apart reveals some rubbing of the magnet on the plastic piece that seperates the magnet from the prop side. The thin nylon washer is installed properly on the magnet face.

Would putting a thicker washer on the magnet face resolve my problem?
