I have a 240g with the dimesions of 96"x36"x16". It is a SPS dominated reef. 100g sump with built in fuge. Large skimmer that can handle double the size system (reeflo 250). My questions is this. Do you think my tank can handle another large fish? I am thinking another trigger or tang. My params are all good now and 0 phos and 0 nitrate. I almost feel my SPS could benefit from a little more fish poop.

Current fish list

7 Chromis
4 Anthias
1 Blue sided Wrasse
1 Scotter blenny
1 Algae blenny
1 Saddle back clown
1 Powder brown
1 Foxface
1 Sailfin tang
1 Blue jaw trigger

I'd say you'd be alright with another larger fish.

I think you'd be fine.

Heck yeah you can!

Assuming your params are as listed above and you dont have any major aggression problems, I wouldn't even hesistate to put another large guy in there, maybe a couple!

Very Nice.

I love the Sargassum Triggers. They have so much personality.

Easy call there - nice fish. I don't think you will be pushing your limits at all.

We'll see in a little bit. I'm sure he should be fine. The Bluejaw is a powder puff.

The Bluethroat doesn't mind him a bit. The Sargassum is trying to follow him around. The Powder brown and Sailfin are flexing their muscle a little as they always do with any new addition.

Beautiful fish! I'm debating between that and a bluejaw. Let me know if either of them bother coral or inverts.

Click on my red house for build log and FTS. It is really hard to get good FTS being 8' long.

Don't really know. I am not really a wrasse person. Just know it is some kind of fairy wrasse. If anyone else would chime in would be great. He was just to pretty to pass up.

Really like how the sargassum looks in your display under your lighting. Under some lighting, sargassums look kind of gray/beige/bland, but yours looks great with that nice blue cast. 20K halides of some variety, plus actinics?

If you don't know if it is, it probably isn't then. They are like $150-200. A lot of the flashers look similar with the lines down the sides. I had a filamented flasher that looked similar to that one.

No it is not then. It was only $30. I only buy cheap wrasses for now until I get around to making a screen cover for the top.

Ya, Ya I knew that. I told you I wasn't a wrasse guy.:p To me this $30 wrasse looks just as nice as the ones for $300 on Divers Den. Ok all you wrasse people don't bash me.
