It looks more like a whip fin or flasher than it does a Red Velvet or Rosy scale. IMO

You almost certainly have C. rubripinnis, the red fin fairy wrasse. If you take this wrasse to terminal phase this male is as gorgeous as any other fairy wrasse. It will eventually have blood red fins with a blue edge and a stark white ventral area.

that is a c. rubripinnis aka the red fin fairy and one of my favorites out there... as coralite stated a big male has very pretty deep blood red fins and is really sweet when displaying

Has it flashed yet? I have a whipfin, when she flashes she is gorgeous. Her belly turns black, side and tail fins turn violet top fin and lips turn yellow and all the fins have blue specks and a blue outline. She is sweet looking when she does that. I think she is a she because she does not have the "whip".
