does anybody know if the sides are tempered? i know the site only talks about the bottom.

I can't say for sure that all of them are, but I know some of them are. A buddy of mine bought twenty 20g high tanks to set up his discus room, and fought Aqueon for almost 2 months before he finally got them to replace his tanks with drillable ones. He found out they were tempered the hard, and loud way.

I had the same question about there 40 gallon breeder. I simply emailed tech suppot with my question and they replied back that only the bottom was tempered on the 40 gallon. Here is the contact. Brian Woodruff
