this is a very nice tank with some great pictures of corals.... but a 75 gallon? I don't really consider that a nano, by any means

Looks good so far, but looks like you made the overflow intake too low as you shouldn't see the waterline on a rimmed tank.

You know i Feel the same way about the 75 not being a nano but it is the red headed step child on Reefcentral.... NO real home... Cant play with the big boys....

As for my over flow... I had my return pump off when I took the photo so the water level dropped below the overflow line... when return pump is on the water level is back above the rim

that magnum is kinda ginormous ... just my own opiny-on, but if you switch the placement of the powerhead, it would be aesthetically more pleasing ...if it doesn't mess with your flow too much

I agree it is huge..... I have played with different placement and that is just clearly the best for this tank.... I dont plan on keeping it.... Just didnt have the cash for a Vortech up when i was building the tank... THE MP40 will be replacing it when i have an extra 350 laying around

No it's not a nano, BUT, if you read on the main forum page description for Large Tanks...

A forum for people interested in keeping large reef tanks. This forum is dedicated to water volumes of 180 gallons and larger.

Hence, it's placement here. I was wondering the same thing about my new 75 gallon once I make a thread for it...

Anyways... Nice looking tank. I really like the rock work. Is it an Oceanic? That's what mine is, and they look similiar.

Thanks man at least someone else that feels my pain on the lack of a home for the 75 gallon people out there.... Yeah I believe it is an Oceanic.... Fellow Reefer was moving do to a divorce and gave it to me for free if i would come and pick it up... Could see the date the tank was made but didn't see the maker... But My feeling is it is an Oceanic

Well I guess from this feed back it clearly isnt 75 gallons.... But I would be happy to look at your 60 cube in the nano section... So it doesnt get lost among the 593 gallon tanks

Yeah I used the Great Stuff..... It worked really well... You can get some other foam that is pricier but Stuff worked great for me... Just applied it to the Light Grate that I had zip tied my rock to
