I got my foxface on Wednesday. He nabbles at the algae clip here and there. Most of the time I'm around he just hides out behind rocks. The 2nd day I had him I put a large mirror on the end of the tank or the YT would've had his ___ already. Now he's too busy, attacking himself.
I just didn't want the mirror stressing out the new guy either, but I suppose it's better than a buttwhoopin'.
Also, my mom was by the tank when I was at work and she said he was laying down on his side on the sand bed not moving any gills or fins. She said it was weird and thought the tang killed him. She then told me she took the net in there to get him out and started poking around on him and then he just took off I guess like normal. Since I got home he was back to "normal" in the rocks, hiding.
I just find it so weird, considering I had a magnificent foxface before this one and he and the tang got along great. This guy was a DD specimen and is just freaked out it seems day after day. How long will he live if this keeps going?
