I have a 75 gallon with 3 clams, small frags of sps. Im currently running a mod mj400 and a mod mj1200. I also have a regular non-mod mj400. My return pump is approx 500-600 GPH. Should i add more flow? maybe one more mod mj400?

Turnover though not a useable number, is a good determination.

add up all the flow in your display and divide by the gallons in the display (75)

People have had success with different values, but 40X turnover is a moderate number to shoot for.

For example: two Vortechs rated at 3000gph (assuming continously running at that rate) plus 600gph for a return equals 6600gph/75g=88X.

SPS do better the more flow you provide.

I would kind of base this on how the corals are doing. I definitely think you could stand more, but I wouldnt feel as adamant about it if the corals are doing well.
