Hey, I want to get a Raccoon Butterflyfish but iam not shure if it would be fine for my tank. I have a reef tank with clams and mixed corals and was wondering if anyone has one of these fish in a reef tank ? What are the chances it would bother my corals or clams ? any input would be great.
Thanks
J

Bad idea. Probably 99.5% it will mess with something.

Great for aiptasia and coral removal. Ooops, you say you have a reef tank?

The chances are pretty good, like almost 100%. I'd be willing to bet on it. A Raccoon butterfly is one of the least reef safe fish there is.

racoon will pick up any fleshy coral and sure will stress the clams ...
