maxima on sand?

i know croceas are suposed to be on rock, not sand dwellers. is that the same for maximas?

Typically, yes, however I've had both with success on the floor of my tank (I don't have a sand bed).

If you are worried, you can attach them to a frag disk, ie allow them to attach. Then ou can move them as you please. Mine always tried to attach to something, so this worked.
