View Full Version : Good corals that won't sting others-- for filling in between rocks

I have a 10g nano that is doing great (see sig for specs), grows SPS very well.

What I'd like to do is to grow things around all the SPS and the handful of LPS (duncans and caulastrea) to cover the rock a bit.

I like clove polyps, zoas, and palys (and have all three in the tank) but I do not know if any of these pose a stinging or chemical warfare problem for SPS. I have read from an article in 2004 in CORAL mag that clove polyps do not harm things they touch--- they only pose an overgrowth concern.

I'd like to grow mushrooms but they don't tend to do well in my tank, they just shrivel (I suppose light shock?)

Let me know what corals you have that seem to be safe and non-stinging.

I do NOT mind pest corals, it's reaaaalllly easy to frag out of a 10g. Plus I could use a little frag swappage.
