Any suggestions for home made diets? I have 2 blue damsels (I know, I know...), a perc clownfish and yellow tang in my tank and I am interested in making up a mixed frozen food diet. They are currently being fed a variety of flakes, nori for the tang, and Selcon soaked mysis and brine shrimp.
Thanks.

I make my own homemade food for all of my tanks. I have a very wide assortment of fish, and many of them can be finiky eaters. I have found that the mix that I made is irresistable to most all fish. Here is what I add:
Salmon
Tuna
Tiger Prawns
Scallops
Oysters
Clam
Selcon
Garlic Extreme
I mis all of this together and freeze. All of my fish love it and eat it with gusto
All the ingredients that I use are fresh and I wash/soak them in RO/DI water to remove any phosphate based preservatives that may have been added

Michael,
Thanks for your reply. Do you chop the pieces up or do you use a blender or food processor?

I always chop it myself. I have found that if I use a food processor or blender, the mash gets too Soupy.
