I just got some. $15 delivered. Said 500. I couldn't count for the life of me. Looked like 500, maybe more.

The more you buy the cheaper they get obviously. I got them from "Precisionaquaculture". Shipping was fast and came with some chaetomorpha and grape caulerpa. But I don't have a refugium so I threw it in my skimmer return box. Thought about putting it right in tank but didn't know what else to do with it.

Notice a difference? I don't think I have that eye. See more little things buzzing around? Yes I do. Because I bought them? I don't know. Have I been a help to you? I doubt it.

Ebay it hit n' miss. Definitely cheaper on some things but only comparable on others after shipping is included. Do the math and read the feedback.

Hit submit before I was done thinking and correcting the "it" to "is" in "hit n' miss".

I'm also thinking about Phytoplankton for my tank. Seems to be something to feed to corals than just to add to a tank. Answers on this would be nice for us noobies too.

why buy phyto or zooplankton(copopods) when you already have them in your display tank.
Set up a separate refugium with cheato macro algae and you will have all the copopods you ever need.
As far as phyto--aka algae--there is lots in the water column.
