leaking tank?

wife call me at work and said my 20g tank was leaking. it was coming out from under the tank, under the plastic trim and accumulating on top of the stand. when I got home it does not appear to be leaking. Question is it possible for a tank to leak off and on?

You might have simply had some water go down the front of the tank and when it dries it creates saltcreep that looks like the tank has leakage. It might be nothing;)

It may be salt creep, but I had the same problem on my 55 gallon tank, and I had to get some silicone and patch the front.
