I just upgraded one of my powerheads from maxijet to Koralia 4. Can I still use Red Sea wave maker? It makes some clicking noise every time it starts.

Red sea's are off-on controllers. The koralia's need controllers that vary power low to high. At least this is what I've been told and the red sea did'nt work for me either.

I had my K4 on the same wavemaker and it caused issues. The K4 would run backwards at times. K4 are not meant to be on a on/off timer. I even tried putting bumpers to make them start correctly. It would be fine if your had a SEIO Controller. I have recently bought one used on my MAS. I also have done the K4 mod to it and currently have it on the SEIO Controller and it is working great!!
