how can i get my hob overflow to siphon faster?

I have an Eshopps 800 gph overflow that can't keep up with my return pump which is a quiet one 3000 rated for 780 gph at 10 ft max head . I have to close the ball valve almost completely more than 3/4 so the water seems to just trickle into tank. any way i can get the siphon to go faster?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with that exact overflow you have....but if you need additional siphon capacity, you can just add an additional U-tube.

To some maximum limit, a given pipe diameter will carry more flow depending on how much water height (head pressure) is pushing the water into that pipe. If you lowered the siphon intake so it was deeper in the tank, it would pull more water.
