Ok I had problems with finicky eaters such as royal gramma who starved to death, but when I bought it I saw how they fed him freeze dried brine shrimp and it quickly ate it at the LFS. Now I´m considering buying San Francisco Freeze dried Brine shrimp.

I know many bad things are said about brine shrimp such as the low nutritional value, but I also know that baby brine shrimp are supposed to be nutritious, now I don´t know how they freeze dry this brine shrimp or if they add anything but the nutritional value seems high to me:

Guaranteed Analysis: Crude Protein Min 39.45%
Crude Fat Min 4.96%
Crude Fiber Max 5.00%
Moisture Max 9.61%
Dry Protein Min 43.64%

So what do you think, is this a good food?

I'd still pass on them and lean towards something like frozen mysis. Have you tried that?

Mix it up, switch off what you feed over different days. that way they get a little of everything.

Tried it ONCE ... Never again
The fish don't want, and it makes a mess. Just get the frozen and be done with it.

I don't like the freeze dried, uneaten parts float and never seem to sink. At least with the frozen the fish can chase it around and then what's left settles on the substrate for the scavengers to find.

THolley is right, it never absorbs water and sinks, and even then my most aggressive eaters dont care about it when it floats at the top. Now I know why they were giving away free bottles of freeze dried food at a frag swap. I got 10 bottles of worthless food.
