I was interested in getting a chevron but have only seen pictures that are labeled juvenille. Do they change once they mature?

Any pictures?

Yes, they undergo a dramatic color change.

I think their adult colors are beautiful too.

Do a search here or on the web, and you'll find photos.

yes they do change. they become very dark almost black with olive green lines. i actually like the adult coloration more than the juvenile its very unique. here is a link to a pic i found online. this fish isn't quite half way through the change but it gives an idea of what happens, you can see the green lines and eventually all the orange will give way to that much darker color.

I think they look awesome as adults to though. Def not as striking as juv.

Here is a pic of my Chevron. He was purchased as a juvi about 3 1/2 years ago. They are great fish. The Achilles is the boss of the tank, of course.

here is mine with my black .both are about 6 inches tip to tip.
