Venustus Wrasse

is this wrasses reef safe< just put it in the tank, the guy at the store didnt know what it was and like an idiot i bought it and cant find any info on it

The venustus wrasse is a really cool hawaiian coris which has really cool color and stays a little smaller than most coris wrasses. Reef safe is a relative term, this fish will eat pods (like any other wrasse) but when they are larger they will pose a harm to smaller invertebrates like shrimp and small hermit crabs. This fish is seldomly seen in the trade even though it is endemic to Hawaii. Grow up to adult size and you will have yourself a really cool fish that you don't often come across.
