Being a cabinet maker, I usually have all sorts of hand tools around. Yesterday I bought a beautiful cluster of Discosoma sp. anemones that covered a twisted Tonga-branch LR.
The LR was about 3/4" in diameter, but I wanted to frag this thing out and place the critters in various places in my tank.
I went for my toolbox and found the perfect thing. I've used these for a couple years for pulling nails, cutting wire, cutting whatever. They have a very long handle and you can flat put some force on them with your bare hands. These are bigger than most similar nippers you'd find at Lowe's.
They work great and are dirt cheap, considering how quickly we can rust up a pair of nippers.
