I have two coralife aqualight 96w powerquad fixtures on two seperate tanks and just changed the bulbs about a month ago.
Walked into the living room and one light was out. Checked all the wiring, the timer, reset the bulb plug and it still wouldn't light. Because the fan was running I knew it was getting power. So I replaced it with an old bulb and it fired right up. Ten minutes later I heard a click and that bulb was out. Since I had another old bulb I figured I'd try that and watch to see what's actually happening. 24 hours later that bulb is still doing fine.
Obviously I don't want to keep buying bulbs if it's going to keep blowing them, any ideas?
