I have a jbj 29g nano with a 150watt halide and cannot seem to maintain a consistent temp. I have tried several different heaters and the problem still occurs. There is a slot located in the rear section of the tank where the water flows over the heater slot to get into the return pump. Im guessing my only other option is to place the heater in the tank. I would like to avoid doing that because it is not exactually visually appealing. My room temp remains at around 70 to 72 degrees and the tank is not close to any windows or anything like that.
