feed only every other day for a while. keep your nitrates and phosphates very low. vacuum out as much of the cyano as possible. if your bulbs are more than a year old, they may have shifted spectrum down into the reds and yellows, making it a grow bulb.
also make sure your not getting any sunlight hitting the tank.

natural eaters of red slime are Holothuria cucumbers and Strombus conchs.
