I am having a problem lately with my fish dying and i dont know y. Last weekend i bought a coral beauty and a percula clown. The coral beauty died with in 12 hours. I was just thinking it was a sick fish and blew it off. But this mornig my clown died after a week. About a month ago i bought 2 pep shrimp and 3 glass shrimp and with in a week they where dead. What am i doing wrong? all of my paramaters are in check and have been in check since my cycle was over. I acclimated them all the same way by floating them for 15 or 20 mins. then drip for 45 min or so. MY other inhabinats are two yellow tail damesles, an occ. clown, a ywg, some hermits, 2 emerald crabs, a serpant star that stays in a rock, and some snails. so why has everything i added lately died.

I agree the water parameters would help here.
Also did the fish show signs of being attacked by the yellow damsels?

did you QT the new arrivals?

I have learned the hard way that you MUST spend the $200 it takes to set yourself up a QT tank.

Anything change in that room recently? Using any aerosols?

Just trying to think outside the box, so to speak.

Post your water parameters for everything that your testing for.
Are you dosing or adding anything to the tank for any reason? Are your using a Protein skimmer?
