Here's our 'planted' 10 gallon reef. All of the equipment were leftovers from various other tanks and projects, so I figured why not. The corals are refugees from other tanks that are too crowded or the fish were having a field day with them, so I needed a spot. So far so good. Amazing how things respond when in suitable conditions. ;) Hopefully will be adding more types of macros in the next future.

Enjoy!

Thanks guys.

Right now, I am really considering ditching the toadstool, and brown polyps in favor of some Blastomussa and Fungia plate corals. The corals and rocks take up alot of room that could be utlized better. I am moving in a couple weeks so nothing would be done until then anyhow.

For lighting, I think I am going to look into getting another identical fixture and running Corallife's 20w 50/50 bulbs (http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsUS/ctl3684/cp18361/si1382997/cl0/coralifeminicompact5050lamp20watt). It will give me the actnic look while providing more light for the corals and will add another spectrum for the plants.
