I was thinking about getting a Nano 9002 skimmer. I just have one question about water depth. The area in my sump that I want to mount the skimmer in has a water depth of 5 inches. Is that a suitable water depth for this skimmer?
Thnx

No, the skimmer needs a water depth of 7" minimum, but 8" is ideal

Is this a good skimmer? I have been through 3 skimmers on my 10 gallon fuge for my 29. They have all been HOB. I was thinking about taking everything out of my fuge and just having the skimmer in there. either that or I was going to try a octopus HOB skimmer.
I just want something I can truly plug in and it skims however much I set it to. I want to be able to skim a full cup in a couple days.
Are all skimmers sensitive to when you touch the water, etc. etc.
