A guy locally here in Miami sells these custom JBJ nanocube 24 skimmers........ I actually have an extra one I'm not using anymore (decided to make a mini refugium in place of the skimmer as a D.I.Y, yes I cant sit still I'm always wanting to change stuff lol) dunno if you'd like to buy it i'll sell it cheap as its now just sitting there... ( bought it for 50 bucks from a LFS ) u can have it for like half that....
He makes them custom fit to the 2nd chamber, worked awesome in my tank....

none whatsoever!!! This was the very first skimmer i have ever just simply added to the tank and no bubbles, and instantly started skimming.
no micro bubbles + instant skim = well worth the $150 :D
Good luck!

Might want to check out the Sapphire Aquatics ones. They came out with a new model that has gotten some great reviews.

I dont use any just some carbon every once in a while a bag of seachem and the black filter pads. Oh and everyonce in a while a very fine filter pad to pick up random debris.

sapphire aquatics protein skimmer for the 24g nanocube. Awesome skimmer worth every penny.

I also use the tunze 9002, in the second chamber. Works great but I had to use a piece of acrylic to block most of the hole that leads to the third chamber so that the water would mainly flow over it. This keeps the water level in the second chamber even. I then have my ATO in the third chamber.
