Has anybody ever succesfully covered their crossbraces with some sort of insulating or reflective material to protect them from MH heat? I'm using a fan right now but don't want my cross braces to melt if the fan ever fails and would actually like to have the lights warm the water. After switching to a basement sump it seems like the heaters are always on.
