You will get all kinds of opinions on here and some are good and some are not, I had a Sohal Tang once and I still it was the coolest fish I have had so far but I got rid of it because it was always nipping on someone for no reason at all, just was nasty all the time but I have heard others had a fairly peaceable one. By the way mine was in with triggers and he bullied them and most likely he will pic on the Blue Jaws (throats) since they are passive and alot of the others you have on your list, but you might get a nice Sohal

I like the sohal too but I figure since it is 10 feet long he would be fine. There may be an option 4 take the sohall off and add the tinker butterfly and the three anthias

Option 4, you don't want a sohal with those tankmates. Only aggressive triggers and angels and maybe a select few eels, groupers, puffers or possibly other tangs.

Our local store has a 300 gallon big reef display with a 8" sohal, no problems with all of the reef safe fish....each once can be different. I have a near 8" clown tang, same thing, it just swims around looking for food.

I like option 2....
I really wouldn't rule the Sohal out, admittedly mine is still fairly young, but I don't view this fish as an outright bully. I view them as the same as my Achilles I had for 5 years, as long as everybody in the tank knows he's the boss, everything will be fine. Mine only occasionally chases anybody now.
I would make sure the Triggers are amongst the first fish in, may sound strange, but Bluejaws do much better getting established the fewer tankmates they have.
Sohal in last if you do, you could certainly sub the Sohal for a more civilized large semi-rare Acanthurus Tang though like... Dussumier, Barriene, Spot Face, or so on....But I wouldn't.:D

The first 6 are in my 72 gallon tank now so they will go in first then the triggers.Could I take off the blue ring angel and add the queen angel instead?

Sure, you could have your choice of any 1 large Angel, you could even do more than 1 in my opinion, always risky, but in that sized tank I like your chances....I consider Scribbled in the medium size range.....I like the way you have it though, one Dwarf, one Medium, and one Large Angel.....That was my plan until my Medium Angel (Black Velvet) wasn't well enough to ship for 2 weeks in a row and BlueZoo offered to replace it with the Asfur, now I have 2 Large....Oh well:lol:

I was told that I could add a queen angel to that list instead of the tinker butterly. I didn't think I could put 4 adult angels in my tank. So is this true?

I certainly think you could....Based on your list you will have 4 Angels from 4 different families in a 388 gallon tank....IMO very do-able.

What are the dimensions of the tank? I'd add the queen last and pretty small. Are you still planning on getting a sohal? Kirkaz makes a good point, every fish is different. Just be prepared to remove the sohal if he/she turns aggressive down the road. I'd definitely add the sohal last, the queen and bluering towards the end too. Good luck.

I wouldn't even risk getting the sohal. There are many other cool tangs out there. I know they all have different personalities but more then likely it will be aggressive. If it does work, you probably wouldn't be able to add any fish after it and in a tank that size that will be hard to do.
A long time ago I tried a small sohal in a aggressive tank. I still had to eventually get rid of it.

How about some sycotropic drugs to calm the Sohals down? Then they could be compatible!

Yeah I was thinking about still doing the sohal tang I was going to add the sohal and the queen angel last. Why would I add the blue ring angel last? My tank is L shape it is 10 feet long one way 5 feet long the bottom half of the L 2 1/2 wide and I think its the same tall.

I think Im still going to get the sohal. But just curious what tang would u suggest with that fish list?

10ft long, by 5ft long, by 30" wide and 30" tall is approx 600g. If you do get the sohal, be prepared to have to remove him. I'd hate to see you try and catch him in a 400g tank. Everything depends on when you add it and what size it is.

I don't know how you came up with 600 gallon or 400 the tank is 388 gallon. So from what Im getting is a 10 feet long tank is still not enough room to keep a sohal from picking on tank mates. If you would like to see a pic my LFS posted a pic of under my thread how to transport my acrylic tank in the new to hobby forum. You can't see the bottom half of the L on the photo
