yeah, thats what they look like when irritated, i can get pics of them like that too. the pic looks like they have be photoshoped a little. i like to keep my pics the way they are without editing. more pics to come later

The questioned zoanthids and Puffer's pic look like the same zoanthid to me. Puffer's is a much clearer picture and shows the colors better, but they're the same. I'd say YES, they're Purple Hornets.

Mine do not have those stripes in them & are a much deeper solid purple.

do Purple Hornets grow slow. what makes them so much.

Because people like them so much & are willing to pay. Mine grew from 5-11 in a month.
