Cadlights 22 gal 4X24W T5 lighting

How would the newer units with individual reflectors do with SPS? This is going to be a QT tank.

I have this Cadlight light fixture... I also had the older one with 6 bulbs (no individual reflectors). SPS did OK under the old fixture. Under the new fixture, I have a pink birdsnest that is doing less than OK, but is not dying off. Other SPS that required more light started to turn brown. I do not recommend SPS under the light fixture you have.

Now, that being said, I have recently upgraded the bulbs according to the T5Q&A thread. I have not seen a noticeable change... but it might take a few weeks/months.

I'd recommend getting the teklight fixture from reefgeek, or if you can do a retro (not sure if you've got a canopy or not) i personally have the icecap retro from reefgeek and i grow whatever i want w/4x39w over my 40 breeder.
