6025 vibrating loudly

I picked up a second 6025 and it is loud compared to my other one. It also vibrates about twice as much as the other. I switched out props and it was as quiet as the other one. Is this a common problem with these?

One more thing, when I took out the props, there was no washer in either one??? Did they do away with that on the newer models?

The stainless steel washers are gone, we added graphite reinforcement to strengthen the plastic of the drive unit and the disk. If the pump is brand new, let it run for a week or two, the plastic absorbs some water and also wears in during the first couple weeks. This will give it the proper fit on the shaft and eliminate most noise and vibration. If it doesn't go away, let me know.

It has started to quiet down some, but the cover wont stay on right. It seems loose when I put it on and falls off ocasionally. I have it tied on with fishing line now:) . Will it hurt to wedge something in it to make it tight or should I order a new one?

I will give you a new one, just PM me your info. That may also be the cause of the noise.
